New Video: Willow Smith – ‘Transparent Soul’

Published: Monday 31st May 2021 by Ryan

Willow Smith is rocking out in the latest set of visuals for her song, ‘Transparent Soul.’

The clip sees the singer on stage before she winds her way through the crowd, where she meets a mysterious figure. She goes on to make an emotion connection with it and it follows her out of the club.

Smith unleashed the song earlier this month. The track features Travis Barker of Blink-182 fame.

‘Transparent Soul’ will appear on her upcoming album, which is set to feature various collaborations.

If y’all can hype that Olivia girl, do the exact same for a black girl who giving the same exact genre and energy.

But y’all won’t do that because y’all choice in music isn’t about the genre, song choice, or vocals.

No it’s because the song is corny. Early 2000’s pop-punk cosplay.

    Yasss Go Willow Go!
She was so dope on Fallon! She is giving me early 00’s Fefe Dobson vibes and I Stan!
Definitely rooting for her and other black girls alike.
So refreshing to see so many narratives coming and rising from black woman other than twerking and sleeping with someone’s broke baby dad.
I just showed my friend Doja Cats work last night and he was so astounded by her growth and range as an artist.
May this be a door opening up for many more to come 🙏🏾

say what you want but the black girls will never be as gassed as the yt girls.

    I said what I said.

*Sighs* gotta love the internet and it’s typical ignorance found on a daily.
Who said they wanted to be gassed as the yt girls? Some of us are just content with the newfound representation and just appreciation for the fact that it gives small girls that look like them and who could potentially need someone to look up to.

Willow a old soul. The sound goes back to punk rock era. Human league a little bit of billy idol, she differently reached back before her time.

I enjoyed her video. I like her music take me back to Jimmy Hendrick days which I highly miss. Loved Central Park and New York City during those days.
